Our friends at the Ho-Chunk Nation learned this week that Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers has approved the Nation’s plans for a new casino development in Beloit, Wisconsin.
The casino development effort has been in the works for several years, and the Nation’s application received approval from the Bureau of Indian Affairs in April 2020.
From MyStateline.com:
BELOIT, Wis. (WTVO) — Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers has given his approval Wednesday to move ahead with the development of a casino in Beloit.
The $405 million gaming and family entertainment destination is projected to bring an approximate 1,500 permanent jobs and thousands of construction jobs to the site in an economic win for the Nation, the Beloit area, and the State of Wisconsin. The project includes a casino, hotel, convention center, restaurants, and waterpark.
Visuality is immensely proud to have worked with the Ho-Chunk Nation at various stages of this monumental effort, and we congratulate everyone at the Ho-Chunk Nation who played a role!
